Haringey Learning Partnership Celebrates First A-Level Results for Philip House Students
Philip House, part of Haringey Learning Partnership, is thrilled to announce the first set of A-Level results achieved by its post-16 students. As a specialised provision for students with Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs), Philip House is dedicated to providing tailored educational opportunities that foster both academic excellence and personal growth.
The results reflect the hard work and resilience of both students and staff. Across a range of subjects, the performance was outstanding, with 67% of all grades achieved being A*/A/B and 88% of grades falling within the A* to C range.
One of the standout achievements came from a young person who secured an A* in Physics, and A grades in both Chemistry and Maths. His exceptional performance has earned him a place at the University of Nottingham to study Physics, marking a significant milestone in his academic journey.
"We are immensely proud of our students' achievements this year," said Gerry Robinson, Executive Headteacher. "These results are a testament to the dedication of our students, the commitment of our staff, and the supportive environment that we strive to create at Philip House."
Many of the students at Philip House have faced significant challenges in their educational journeys, including ill health and experiences of mainstream education that were not conducive to their learning needs. These A-Level results are a remarkable achievement, highlighting the perseverance of the students and the unwavering support from the dedicated team at Philip House.
