About Us
At HLP, we offer specialised teaching and support to students with complex needs so that they can achieve a safe, happy and independent future.
Our students come to us at various points during their schooling – usually as a result of their placement in a mainstream setting not being sufficiently specialised to meet their needs at that point in time.
Whether a student is suffering ill-health, behaviour issues or other difficulties, HLP includes a range of schools and services to ensure students receive the necessary support to help them back into mainstream education, wherever possible.
It is important to all of us at HLP that students see their time here as a positive, nurturing one which acts as a significant, yet temporary, part of their educational journey. We therefore offer a range of therapeutic support and an inclusive, personalised curriculum in order to best meet the needs of every single student.
We are confident that through working together, treating each other with kindness and respect, challenging prejudice and always striving to do the best we can, students’ time at HLP can be transformational.
